Hello all,

Im new here, but I've lurked for awhile, mostly in the traditional sub-forum. I've always been interested in traditional knives and began collecting a few years back. My collection is nothing to blush about, it's small but I enjoy what I've got. My newest is a Case pocket worn old harvest orange bone trapper. Oh, and the little yellow Case peanut that's on it's way :D.

Thanks thawk :thumbup:. I've got an amber bone Texas jack just like yours. It was a Christmas gift from my mother a few years ago, it's one of my most favorite knives. That and my father's old knives of course. That Tadpole is quite neat by the way, I've never seen one.

I don't own any "pocket worn" Case knives at the present, but the second cut bone series is pretty close. Here's a picture of the two I have:

Ed, I noticed that picture or yours in another thread earlier. You've got two gems right there, that second cut bone looks great.

Yep, I posted it in the "What traditional ... are you totin..." thread as I carried the mini copperlock today. The jigging on the second cut bone is similar to some of the jigging used on the pocket worn series, but they buff it a bit more I think. Those two knives are way up on my list of favorites.

I know a couple of the guys that post on here have the pocket worn red Sway Back Gent. Maybe one of them will post a pic for you. -Ed
 
Welcome Goozle63. If you like harvest orange, you've got great taste IMO. This is my 1st #54 trapper, which I received as a gift from forum member Railsplitter.

Great looking knives, I especially like that orange trapper for some reason ;). Everytime I scroll through a thread I get surprised by what I see, there's really some great stuff in here. Thanks for the welcomes aswell everybody.
