Which knives and bayonets are based on the M4 bayonet?
I know the following:
  • M3 knife
  • M5 bayonet
  • M6 bayonet
  • M7 bayonet
  • FM/52J knife (Swedish)
  • FM/54 knife (Swedish)
  • FM56 knife (Swedish)
  • FM64 knife (Swedish)
  • Swedish Bayonet 1965 for AK4 (H&K G3) and AK5
  • A Norwegian fighter knife with no name
  • Norwegian AG-3 (H&K G3) bayonet

The M3 came first, then the M4, 5, 6, 7. As you must see, all share the same blade. I don't know anything about the scandinavian knives, but if you knew the number of experimental and one off knives (M3 type blade) made for the US military, As well as those made by the company's that produced the original , it would blow you away.

I realized that I typed the wrong M3 and M4 in wrong order right after I made this thread.
I will try to find out most of the knives with M3 blade type.

is the Ek Knives M3 close enough ?
and if you look closely enough, the gerber combat folder might as well be a mid sized folding m3.
