Knives and Carowinds

Just letting anyone who might be heading to Paramounts Carowinds Theme Parks that they won't let you in with a knife, They are doing Metal Finder searches at the gates and if you have a knife on you they ask you to return it to your car or check it into thier safe keeping and issue you a number to retrieve it when you leave. So if your heading that way soon don't take anything you might not get back because of loss or theft. Just a warning.

You are right. I live one exit from Carowinds. I bought a season pass last year and this year. Last year I brought my Endura in and there were no metal detectors. This year they had the metal detectors at all the entrances so I returned to my truck and left my knife in the truck.
