If this is a stupid question, please let me know so I dont make a complete fool of myself. I know that a knife blade could be ruined if it got to hot. Is it possible for a blade to become to cold?

Thanks

Richard

No, not in any environment on this planet in which you would use a knife.

Welllll..... that is mainly right. I once used a lot of liquid nitrogen. Just for grins, I have immersed a blade in liquid N2 for an extended period of time. You can seriously damage some "stainless" steels, specifically the steel in a Chinese POS knife to the point that the blade becomes very brittle. What, did you think I was going to put a Bill Moran folder in there?
