I can't do much because my fingers are still in these stupid aluminum brace things. Went for my "wound check" today - still looks pretty ugly and I'm clubfinger till Monday. I can't open a folder! This is so irritating...

So, trying to have some fun, I took some knife and gun photos. I'm certainly not a "photographer," but toys are toys. Hope you guys like 'em!

Here's the little guys, S&W 422 and classic Sebenza. Yes, I know it's loaded. Well, both are. That's the Sebbie that clipped my fingers.

Bigger calibers, Ruger P97dc (.45) and a Skirmish (4.3). I noticed that I popped the clip after I had the picture on my computer. Oh well...

Jos, thanks for the link to that other thread, great eye-candy there.

(Kinda lame, if I had known, I'd have just posted there rather than start a new thread. No way to delete mine and graft it on to the other, as far as I know...)

LOVE the Ruger P97dc and Skirmish. Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes matched sets :D

I'm gonna have to read up on the Ruger now, it's a really neat looking handgun.

Hope everything heals up nice soon.

(NY MARKSMAN) can you give us some info on that 10/22 ? :eek::eek: that is one killer piece of wood,love the ruger logo,too.the best 10/22 i ever saw!!

Im curious about the lanyard, specifically the square part. Can you tell me the name of the knot/knots used to make it ??

Thanks for the compliment on my rifle. Here is a rundown of it's makeup.

S&K Ultra Walnut Extra Fancy stock with african Mahogany front cap, 1 inch recoil pad and laser engraved

Trigger Work by Randy at Connecticut Precision Chambering

2.0 - 2.4 lb trigger pull
Trigger and hammer side shims
Trigger over travel screw
Forward anti-creep/slack screw
Auto-bolt release conversion
Single stage pull reworked to be as crisp as possible
Oversize receiver pins installed to tighten trigger group
Extended magazine release installed

Bolt Work by Randy at Connecticut Precision Chambering

Bolt is totally disassembled, cleaned, deburred
Bolt face is surface ground and squared to .0425" LR rim headspace depth; same as bolt action rifle for accuracy and reduced flyers
Bolt side is beautifully prism jeweled
A hole is E.D.M.'ed and a stainless dowel pin pressed in over the front of the firing pin to hold it from raising up, reducing flyers and to get more consistent firing pin strikes.
Bolt buffer installed.

20 inch black fade to gun metal gray compensated whistle Pig barrel.

Superior Tactical Ruger logo charging handle, rod and spring.

Leupold 3-9 X 33 EFR Gloss Black Scope

I have had the good fortune to have this rifle featured as the very first 10/22 on Rugers "Tricked out 10/22" photo gallery.

The pictures don't do justice to the actual beauty of the stock. I'm quite happy with the way it all came together.
