I started this thread---

over in the General Knife Forum, but since several folks never get over there, I figured I'd reference it here.....

For those folks who have expensive and/or large quantities of knives/guns...... check with your insurance agent on whether or not your home owner's insurance covers your stuff... many don't unless they are 'scheduled' or specifically itemized in some manner.

Thanks for the reminder.
I have a Rider for the guns and bows, but none of my blades are included. Its time for the annual re-quote, so I think at least I can add the blades to the rider.

I priced adding a rider to my homeowners policy and it was way too expensive for me (due to the $ involved). I can pretty much "protect" stuff from normal buglery risks, but the fire issue is one that I have exposure to. Since my brother's home burnt to the ground a few years back with all his "stuff" from many years of life and outdoor interests, I am very aware of this risk. Some good stuff went up in smoke that day....
