My new TWSBI 580 fountain pen with my Charlow two blade Sheepfoot smooth bone.

After I dropped and broke my Montblanc into 5 pieces on a Spanish Tile floor, decided low tech (i. e. cheap) was the way to go:

A (bent) Bic and a SAK! :D

I love my Fisher space pen almost as much as I love my #79 and my swayback jack. I might use it as much if not maybe a bit more on a daily basis. I think they are pretty neato.

My old Cross pen that dad gave me when I enlisted in the army, and told me to write home once a week. This pen has traveled the world with me, and is a bit over a half century old. Fitting since I think Cross calls this model pen a Century.

I hear ya! The Mont Blanc Meisterstuk I'd intended to hand onto my eldest daughter, now a doctor, got stolen from me 20 years ago, together with the Scheaffer my grandparents bought me for my 21st birthday :(

At the same time I lost the Boston Celtics Cross given to me by the Gaston family for services rendered :(

Really brings back memories Carl, my Grandmother (who actually got me interested in pocket knives) worked in a gift and stationary store and it was so fitting as she took such pride in her penmanship. Every Christmas my Brothers and I always received a very nice pen along with stationary.

I was given a Cross Pen just like that and had it for many years. Somewhere along the line I lost it circa 1995ish. Wish I had it today due to the connection to my Grandmother .

She was truly our Matriarch and such a classy Lady :)

I know what you mean, Paul. I have retired this Cross from edc, and it now sits on my desk for checkbook duty. I'd feel just awful if I lost it after a half century of carry. It has crossed over the line into personal artifact.

Carl.

Fisher Space Pen for me, the retractable version. I remember my uncle having one when I was a kid, the release button on the side fascinated me, plus the connection to space. I have one of Fisher's disposables in my Scout bag too, for when one of my guys asks me to sign a soggy "blue card" or other paperwork when at summer camp :D

I gave my older son a Fisher Bullet Pen for Christmas to take back to his university with him. I hope he has it and continues to use it long after I'm gone.

Lamy Fountain pen,a ballpoint jotter the Fire Brigade gave me for 25 years service,a calligraphy chiselpoint texta, Ulster scout penknife, GEC 74, an epi pen for my insulin and 1pkt maynards wine gums.

Here's my Boker Copperhead and Parker "T-ball" Jotter. When I was in the 5th grade (1968) my dad gave me a jotter - my first "nice" pen.
He always carried one. I lost that one in high school, but I still like them. This one I've upgraded with a Parker gel refill and it writes
a lot nicer - just like a Pilot G-2.

My wife has a Mont Blanc, but I prefer the one that writes upside down for 1/10th the price. I'm "spacey" that way.
