Here's some solid thinking I've developed over the years, for buying shotguns and now knives.....firstly accept no responsibility for your thinking. Now...say you're cornered by a wife or guilt.....divide the cost of the item by the number of days in the number of years you figure you'll own the sebbie for example, and any fool will be able to see just how savvy a purchase it was! .....a 1/2 a cent a day!!! You'd just better snap up another shotgun while you're at it!

Thanks for imparting this particular bit of logic. My second Sebbie (a small one) arrived today. Now I can convince my Wife that I do need a third Sebbie and it won't be a waste of money at all. :D ;)

Thanks sophijo. I will use this in convincing the wife what a good deal the Winchester Super X2 Sporter model is that I want for Fathers Day next month. ;)
