The Cris Reeve forum has an outstanding thread about members EDC/watch usage. I thought it was a great idea and since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery here goes...

Hmm....Can't post a picture. I just looked at the tutorial and would rather not go the "internet hosting site" route to post a picture. I was going to post a photo of the limited stuff I brought with me on this mobilization: Leek 1660 CKT, Clash, Needs Work (ugly as Hell but I love it, Omega Speedmaster Professional, Technomarine Blackwatch, and a cheap Croton. Take a look at the CRK thread and let's get one going here.

I can play in this thread! I have a lot of watches, almost all mechanical. For the most part I don't have much interest in quartz watches but I do have a few that I wear for special purposes.

I have about 8 watches that are in my regular rotation. Each one typically gets worn Monday through Friday, then the next Monday I pick the next watch in the rotation. I have some other mechanical watches that I wear occasionally. I have a couple of quartz watches that I wear when working on my car, working on the house, etc. and I don't worry about them getting damaged. I have a couple of other quartz watches for weekends because I sometimes don't wear a watch all day on weekends and I can't keep a mechanical watch running. With the quartz I can grab it on my way out of the house and it should be running and set to the correct time.

This week I'm wearing this DeBaufre Nav-B, styled after German pilot watches of WWII.

And since this is the Kershaw forum, a photo of my best Kershaws:

Thanks. I pooped a little bit when I googled for prices

Sometimes those discount watch places offer it as a daily deal, which is how i got mine. My dad had an old tissot so i needed one too. I love the touch sapphire crystal.

Here is my modded 0560 along with a Orient CEZ05001B. Aside from the lack of hack and manual wind its a very attractive and well built automatic. In these days when "swiss made" means relatively nothing anymore I try to find makers that are good bargains. Orient is at the top of that list for me. They make all their own movements and they own all their production facilities. They are partly owned by seiko.

Orient's are some of the best bang for the buck out there. I like the Mako, Ray, and Saturation Diver. The Seiko divers are also excellent.

I have to take some watch/ZT pics and post soon.
