My Uncle Bill Especiale and 18inch sirupati by kumar arrived today.The UBE is one of the most intimidating knives ive ever held.I love it.Besides my forward curving kukri,it would definitely be the one to use if I had some serious mauling to do

THe sirupati is amazing.Very thin blade,by HI standards,and a long thin handle make this knife extremly maneuverable.This is my favorite of the 3 sirupatis i own,the others being a 15 and a 20.Those who are on the wait list for a 'thin' kukri,you will not be disappointed!

 
In case you missed it there was a sign up thread for thin khuks,i cant remember how thin uncle was going to go with them.

Bill must be laughing,I recieved my 18"Sirup. today also,mine is also by Kumar.Yeah it's fast but did you enjoy the feel & looks of the wood handle?Be advised THE NEW SCABBARDS,are beautiful & "Tight"!!REMEMBER,Bill's rule for unsheathing a K.it definitely applies here!!Got me "Again"Bill!Enjoyed talking to you. jim

i may be old, slow(Vince be silent),
feeble,can hardly see,& move but i'm not quite dead!(some wish i was but they can't seem to figure out how to do it)!Looking forward to the Fla. CONVENTION!

Yeah i loved the feel of the long thin handle.Be warned,compared to a normal HI khuk they feel 'fragile' Im sure they can take whatever punishment i can give though and i will test that out today.

BTW my scabbard,made by the new kami,is not that tight at all.It fits perfectly.

If you want to really make her shine, put some Flitz on rub in with your fingers(it will turn black,careful of the edge)wipe
off & ck it out!you have great taste,we both
love the 18" Sir.
