Knives at the Reenactment - Picture intensive

Went to a local Reenactment today for Fathers Day at the Henry House in NEPA, bought some leather from the Leatherman.

Saw some period knives.

Got to play with some fun stuff , some big guns some little.

They made Henry Longrifles here.

Wrong was when we sat down for some frontier ice cream, he sat down across from us .

I did see a guy who converted an old fasioned barrel stove into a dispenser and camo for his 1/4 keg.

We have a Civil War re-enactment every year here , one of the biggest on the West Coast, reminds me of that.

Here was I thinking that early settlers in the colonies were mainly at risk from hunger.



Joking aside, that looks like a fun day. Great pictures (apart from the one of Dances with Pies, of course...)

Off Henry Street in Belfast PA at the Henry House about 20 minutes from Easton PA .

They've been doin' it there for about 8 years someone told me.
