Hello there guys,

I came today to show one of our latest members at the Brazilian Bladesmiths website comunity. Mr. Claudio Werle has been studing with Luciano Dorneles for some time now and achived a very good level in a very short period of time.

He's definetly a guy to look at in the near future. He hand forges all his pieces from 52100 carbon steel, either integral bolster blades or not. Handle materials range from stag to natural Brazilian hardwoods, specialy rosewood. He's very skilled in the gaucho style but will be just as good with bowies, specialy the very long ones.

His prices are very good for the products he's offering.

Now let's check them out:

A nice hunter. The pommel is fully fileworked but we can't see it from this point of view.

But we can see it here, just before putting it together.

A 10" long blade forged from 52100 round stock with integral bolster and a very nice light rosewood handle.

A good fat skinner for heavy game

And a monstruous 12 1/2" bladed fighter with stag crown handle.

All his knives have stainless hardware, and most will have domed pins.

Thanks for taking a look. All comments, as usual, are greatly apreciated.

Extremely nice as is coming to be the norm from you guys. You can definitely see the Dorneles influence and I noticed a little Fisk influence as I examined the beautiful knives on your new website the other day.

Very nice stuff Jeff. I particularly like the stubby skinner and the looong fighter.

Good looking knives! I like that fighter. Good clean work from what I can see on all of the knives.

That long one not a fighter it's a pig sticker and way too pretty for either!!!!!!!!!
