Knives Emporium Prize Knife arrived!! Thanks Johnnie!

Hi folks -

I was pleasantly surprised to find waiting for me my new ZT0560 that I was lucky to win in the Knives Emporium giveaway contest.

I am glad my wife was off work today to sign for it!

This is the first ZT0560 that I have had a chance to handle (I missed them at Blade, being distracted by the 777, 600, etc. etc) -

I opened the package with my ZT0551 - the fat-boy of my Ti folder collection.

Johnnie included a nice congratulation letter and some of the Knife Emporium business cards - I have already given one away to an edge-loving friend.

I opened up a Two Brother's IPA and inspected my new ZT0560 -

The knife is without flaw - perfect lockup, beautiful edge symmetry, shaving sharp from the box, early lockup and the blade is centered perfectly.

Interesting to me, the knife now comes with a pamphlet from ZT showing the different kinds of knives and how to open them etc.

I will take more pics and add them here as time allows - I am getting ready to leave on an extended motorcycle trip - and the 560 will be along for the ride!

I had a good time tonight playing with the 560 and comparing it to my 0551 - both outstanding blades, but the 560 wins - love the deep carry clip and the slimmer profile, the ball bearing pivot and flipper are smooth as all getout. For the record, I can open the knife with both hands using either the flipper or the blade-stops (aka thumbstuds).
