Hey guys. I'm looking for my next knife and my budget is about 80 bucks and right now I'm looking at the spyderco manix 2 and the cold steel recon 1. What are some other good options at this price range? Just want to make sure I have looked at all the options

Kershaw Random Leek! My favorite "budget knife" it's not really budget but compared to what some pay lol

S30v knife steel, awesome Ken Onion leek design, sleek sharp and you can get neck sheaths on the zon for cheap.

Looks beautiful... Too bad it's been discontinued. I think I'm gonna shoot for the manix 2 and then hunt down a random leek

ZT 0700, Kershaw JYD composite blade, Kershaw Rake composite blade, Kershaw Blur S30V there are many in Kershaw lineup

Knives under $80? You're in luck.

At the time of this posting, most of the knives by KA-BAR and more specifically Becker are under $80. That includes the BK9 at the moment.

You lied! :D

Thank you to everyone who helped me decide on the knife I should buy. I will be ordering the spyderco manix 2 soon ....

Just get the Manix 2, already Chris. Its an excellent knife. For Scagel's sake, you have been here like a month and started, literally, 20 threads on the subject. Oy.

Well Chris, I'd recommend the regular Manix2. You have to p00p or get off the pot one of these days.
