Just starting a thread for the NON knife-makers.......so, what do you (as consumers, rather than makers), carry on a daily basis ?
Me ?....A Madpoet Mini-Bowie, a Case copperlock, an AG Russell Classic Muskrat , maybe an AG Russell Arkansas Folding Toothpick......My Ontario leatherhandle Quartermaster is a chance, also.

But, really.....don't you just hate those threads that exclude members ??

I've been carrying a Spyderco Matriarch on my support side ever since I got it. On the other side, I carry a different folder pretty much every day. I have a bazillion Spydercos, a few SpeedTechs, a few REKATs, one Benchmade AFCK, and soon I'll receive an Outdoor Edge Magna.

On a related note, what are the relative merits of using popsicle sticks as handles?

popsicle sticks are great.....if you use a suitable bonding agent. Rubber bands only work for prosthetic devices.....and ,then, only rarely.
But, really.......my post was a reminder that we cannot afford "excluding" post categories. (Like : for xxx only)
Don't really care, all that much.....anyway

And, if we CAN afford them.....so there you go.

I found it interesting to see what makers carry. Don't you wonder what your mechanic drives? What your Doctor eats? What stocks your broker invests in? What your bartender drinks? What your favorite author reads? What your favorite musician listens to?

Carrywise is Spyderco Moran IWB on strong side or Spyderco Endura Serrated in pocket. Sometimes carry both.

For the home, both the Endura and Moran, w/ a Spyderco plain Delica on the left hip on the belt.

Incidentally, I actually slept w/ the Delica didn't know it till I woke up.

Various Spydercos, AFCKs, and Cold Steels...
And shortly a Speed Safe knife from Ken Onion by way of Kershaw...

Really it depends on the mood and the weather.

Which are my favorites? All of them are my favorites, that's why I still have them - but knowing I will be doing some cutting - I will pack one of my WORKING knifes - a Spydie NATIVE or a MINI AFCK. Both I consider good working knives that while smaller - and least likely to frighten too many sheople - have tremendous ability to either Work, Play, or Fight.

I mean, if I went around saying I was an Emperor because some
moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, people would put me away!

Stjames,

My experience has been that those people are all too willing to tell me there opinions.
Ha Ha.

And no, I don't care.

Yeah I'm crazy, but what do you want me to do about it

James, your right it was an interesting Topic.

Brian, your right, also! There's a way to open a Topic without being Exclusive! Or he could have opened it in another Forum.

I kind of didn't like the idea, so I threw my Non-knifemakers two cents in, just to see if I was going to get Flamed! I wasn't.

Oh! Your Topic. Answer, Swiss Army and a Spyderco Walker lt./wt.
