Hang tough - and enjoy every moment.

From all the stories you have given us over the years - I am sure it will take more than this to back you down. Be tough, stubborn and never quit.

God Bless you and yours

A positive attitude is not in any terms flippant. Half the battle with any heart issues is staying positive, believe me I know.

Stay upbeat, dont let the jerks get you down, and always believe there is nothing that cant be overcome.

Flippancy is a great defense for stressful situations. Be as flippant as you need to make yourself relax/laugh at life when you can. Good luck with your tests.

After having 3 angiograms and a total of 6 stents in less than a year, all I can do is joke about it. Be flippant. Hey! What's the worst that can happen?

Wanna see my scars? :D

Smoke prayer and well wishes for you brother :)

Laughing is the remedy:)

Severely hypertensive most of my adult life and a veteran of 2 angiograms and on meds. since my 20's.Every male member of my family on my fathers side

has succumbed to heart disease, including my dad,his brother, grandfather. Flippant beats fearful.Stay strong and positive.Treatment and even reversal of heart

disease has come a long way over the past years and new advances are being made daily.Keeping a positive attitude is key as are lifestyle changes.

Best wishes and I pray for good results from the tests.

If you cant make light of yourself then somethings wrong. Best of luck to you.

Flip away Mike! If I didn't laugh about my health problems, I'd just give up. Be well sir!

Be strong Mike...don't give up hope bro. You're a good man and He knows it........we all do!

Well, I found out today that my chest pains and shortness of breath were indeed cardiac related. Scheduled for an arteriogram on Thursday. Last time I experienced this eighteen years ago I ended up the proud owner of five bypasses. Hoping for only stents this time, but we'll see. Funny thing is my blood test numbers are outstanding. Genetics are sacked against me, though.

I am at peace with God and myself, though. What will be will be. That was what was up with the original post in this thread, but in view of some other health problems posted here lately,
I decided that my joking around wasn't appropriate.

Stay Strong Mike and prayers sent to you and yours.

our thoughts and prayers are with you, everyone deals with issues in their own way, don't sweat the small stuff. Good luck Thursday, I will keep you and everyone here in my thoughts that need some good vibes.

Feel free to be flippant. Humor is the best medicine. Besides, I don't think that I've ever seen you post something anyone would consider "offensive" here. :)

Smoke, prayers, and positive thoughts rising from Penn's woods (as well as from many other HOGs' locations, I'm sure) for you, and I feel that for a really good guy such as yourself, they will be heard. Stay strong, Mike. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts, and best of luck to you on Thursday.

Mike,
Stay strong my friend and know that you are in my prayers. I never really had a chance to say it but Thanks. Thanks for all the wonderful stories, all the humorous posts and all the good times spent at Blade show.
You were there at my first Blade show and were one of the first Hogs that made a point to welcome me. You have been a large part of my personal Busse experience and I look forward to many more opportunities to chat with you in the future.

All the best my friend and if you ever just need someone to talk to feel free to call.

Garth
