Knives for Saltwater Fishing?

I carry my Myerchin rigging knife and Knives of Alaska Steelheader.
I do carry my JKs but I'am really careful to keep them from rusting.

Fallkniven F2(old model)

One of the several Spyderco Salt models I own in my pocket. A Buck Silver Creek fillet knife in the boat or truck.

Opinel #10. That was the only knife on my father's boat, and we used it for everything.
Permanently locked open due to swollen handle, with a heavily oxidised but surprisingly rust free blade.

Spyderco Atlantic Salt for utility and a cheap replaceable fillet knife.

EDIT: I love surf fishing, so H1 is the only steel I would consider taking out these days. When I'm not surf fishing, I'm in a kayak so I still get wet.

Where would I be able to purchase a sheath for the Fallkniven F2? It seems like it's sold without a sheath. Thanks.

You can buy them directly off the Fallkniven website. They are on clearance, but shipping from Europe is expensive. It's an ok sheath, but does the job. I got mine in about 2 weeks from them.

dexter russel, its all i keep on the boat.. for diving, anything titanium blade and im happy

lots of us just use the old rapalas but if i'm home i have a 10 inch forshner that excells but too big to throw in the boat pack.dennis

I have a Spyderco Pacific Salt I've been using and I love it. My only regret is I got it in all black because thats all the retailer had in at the time.
