Browsing the usual "post your EDC" kind of threads I keep running into pictures of knives that are brand new: kinda boring after a while.

How about a thread dedicated ONLY to pictures of knives - fixed and folders - that got some tough love and got some scars to prove it? You know, knives that get carried and actually USED every day.

Patina, scratches, dings and dents, you name it...and maybe with an optional cool story about how they got them?
Pictures of knives getting down and dirty, with no fear of losing "collectable value" are welcome as well!

Ok, I'll start!

This Busse DDSH is my most recent purchase and since I got it I’ve taken it out many times. I haven’t used it to baton - all of the coating wear is from chopping and carving.

I touched up the factory edge several times before recently re-profiling it freehand to a convex of ~18 per side. Bites really well now!

One of my favorite combos for hiking and general outdoorsy EDC: SZM003 and Alox Farmer.

I gave the Williams a secondary convex so I can hone the edge easily in the field with a small ceramic rod. The stock finish (which I did not like) has worn off with use. The steel is Vanadis 4 Extra so the patina you see is the natural buildup from daily use overtime.
