Made the mistake of amassing a list of knives I'd love to get... this was just off the top of my head too

Not a bad list. The bad thing is........once you have all of those you will continue to see more that you want!!!
 
I made that list without much research... im sure if i spent 30 minutes looking it would double in length

that's a big list... and expensive too.
I would feel sad if I had to look at what I want to buy and actually can't. ><
 
there's a couple customs on their... luckily i haven't bitten the bullet and bought one though. I have money, i just have trouble choosing between knives
 
As much as I love knives, I can't spend all my money on them.

So I am happy with a mini-grip, a grip, a BM Rant, Al Mar SERE.
 
I feel like I've pretty much maxed out on buying production folders. This is not to say that I will not buy more, but I can't really think of any right now that I want and that I'm willing to pay for. I probably have 40-50 in the Spydie, Benchmade, Case, Buck, CRK lineup, and for now that does it for me.

I wouldn't mind something like a Keith Johnson Sodbuster. And I'm waiting on a Koster Bushmaster, and already own one of his 2 prototypes.

And I think I "need" a high-end axe/hatchet or 3, tuned up the way the boys in that forum do it. I could see myself heading in that direction in terms of spending. Standing in the snow next to a roaring fire, swinging away with a killer-sharp axe . . . now that looks fun.

I went through the same thing with guns, then flashlights, and now knives. Pretty much have just about everything I want.
 
I only buy, SAKs, midtechs, (semi-custom) and customs now.

Have way too many production folders that don't match up. Al mar makes my favorite production knives though.
