I checked out this movie mostly out of curiosity than anything else. It stars Steven Seagal and a rapper called DMX. Before I go on, I think a good general, all-around description of this film is that it's done by the same director and had the same flavor as last year's Jet Li movie Romeo Must Die, including several of the same actors. I thought it was just a basic, standard action fare. I feel some parts were entertaining, but a lot of the movie, IMO, was pretty lame.
Now, about the knives. There was a bali-song early on wielded by a thug, but the knives of interest to me are one used by Seagal to cut rope to free some people, and a one-hander used by DMX to open a box.
In both instances, the knives are shown very quickly, esp. in Seagal's case. I couldn't tell if his was an auto or not, though I suspect it was a linerlock, because of the ease with which he closed it/put it away. The knife used by DMX was almost surely a linerlock, similar in design to some of the Fred Carter designs(?). Anybody else able to spot them? (don't blink).
