knives in movies

I assume this has come up in the past, but I am a real neophite (newbie, whatever)... never been here before. Actually, Travis at the BenchMade office recomended this site to me.
I am wondering about the knife so prominently displayed on the movie "Mission Impossible" with Tom Cruise. The one that dropped from high in the CIA vault to stick in the desk top. Who made it? Is it custom or production? I've been asking around about this for a while now...no luke.
Thanks. Sometime I'll tell a pretty good knife story...the ones that got away.

Welcome to the forum's I have seen the movie your talking of about a dozen times but never paid any attenion to the knife before I make knives and usualy I look for them in movies but just didn't in that one but I will watch it again I have it around somewhere and see if I can see
