mewolf1, I wanted an Opinel so I picked the bubinga to match one of my pot calls. I usually use a short fillet knife for breasting out my gamebirds so I went with an Eff. 10. I'm not familiar with it but we will see how it does.

I like the variety in your hunting knives. I bet they bring back a lot of memories of past hunts.

I've got one of those as well, but I'm not a big fan of stainless in knives. It's a fine blade, but as it's a bit fancy, it stays home a lot.

I had my GEC H20 on my belt this year. I actually special ordered it a couple weeks ago and it came only a day before I headed up for Turkey hunting. I reprofiled it the night before I left and carried it the entire weekend. I saw a few groups of hens, had a gobbler circling me, but never was able to get a Tom close enough. Oh well, I had an awesome weekend in the woods!

I ended up taking all three knives. I use the Eff. 10 on the fish and the Tony Bose on the Turkey.

I didn't find it. He was my first Indiana bird. I took it home and buried it in the garden for 3-4 weeks.
