I'm looking for a new folder again and you guys sure can help me with that ;). I really dig "modern" (maybe a bit tactical) gentfolder with great handle/blade and full size/weight ratios. The handle should be something like Titanium, Carbonfiber or G10 and for the blade steel I prefer powder metal or at least a really good stainless like VG10, N690, 14C28, etc. The price shouldn't go over 200 bugs but a great knife for less money would also be fine of course ^_^. Blade size 3 - 3,5 overall 7 - 7,5 inch and weight around 3 ounces. I like the framelock, axis lock, spyderco ball bearing lock and I'm ok with something new or even a well made liner lock but I don't like back locks somehow.

Maybe I should also say that I don't care for wood handles or anything else that may look "old" and classy, like I already mentioned it should be a modern gent knife. I few others knives I already know are BM Shoki, Kershaw Skyline, CRKT Eros, Sog Flash & Twitch etc, this are the brands where I already know most of their knives. Thats why I really would appreciate knives from other brands (maybe not that well known) so I can clear their assortment too.

Hope you guys can tell me a few examples you got or know and I didn't already had on my radar, thank you!

Mcusta always looked classy to me with a touch of modernization. Can't speak about the quality but the few people that own them seem to enjoy them.

If you can go an inch and a half overall bigger, an ounce and a half heavy and about $20 over your limit you can grab an Emerson Gentleman Jim. Emersons rendition of a gentlemans knife with a wave.

Spyderco Caly 3.5 with ZDP-189 and carbon fiber scales. Very classy knife, light, great blade-to-handle and within your price range. Not sure if the backlock will kill it for you, but it's one heck of a blade.

From your list the ripple is very similar to the eros, I didn't really care for the eros but I do like ripple. So if your looking for something similar to that then the ripple is a good choice.

The spyderco caly 3.5 and stretch have a classy/tactical look (if that's possible) but are both back locks, the Sage 1 (CF liner lock) and sage 2 (Ti frame lock) are less tactical but very elegant/ gentleman knives. If your up for a little customization the sage 2 has quite a bit of potential, from flame anodizing the scales to actual anodizing, I always thought blasted Ti with blue accents was about a "classy" as a knife can get.
