Knives Like the Buy Tighe

I recently got a Buy Tighe in, and it's a beautiful show piece of a knife. I'm excited to have it, but obviously it's a safe knife and not really something I'm interested in actually using for fear of damaging anything, etc.

It had me interested, though, to see if there were any other knives with a similar 2 blade design that wasn't a more traditional knife. Something that is just as interesting, but that I'd be willing to actually put in a pants pocket and do a little actual cutting with.

Is there anything that fits that description at all?

There are a few two-bladed knives in that configuration, but they have a plain and a serrated blade. Cold Steel's Lucky is a small slip joint model, and Spyderco's Dyad and Dyad Jr. are back locks (discontinued but can still be found).

I doubt it. There's not much use for a knife with two identical blades.

It's not so much about functionality as style and my own curiosity, really. I have plenty of very good functional knives, so at this point I'm looking more for interesting or exotic ones.

Honestly, I'd love a dual flipper one, similar to what the Buy Tighe has going on. There are a ton of Slip joint models that have the same blade placements, but the more traditional knives like that don't interest me as much.

No, I get it. I have a bunch of knives that are not the most practical. I especially like mechanical curiosities. For example, I notice that the Buy Tighe features dual Klecker Locks.

Indeed. They're really interesting locks, and manage to hold tighter than most others I've used
