Knives made with an old pair of scissors

This knives are for an old customer of mine, who brang me a pair of old scissors (more than 100 years old) and wanted me to make him a couple of knives with them, but preserving the same style.

The wood on the handles is Quebracho from old (also more than 100 years old) train sleepers/crossties.

did you have to HT them, or were they already hardened? They look very cool, by the way, I like the old rustic look.

They were already hardened, and they took an very wicked edge.
