Knives of Alaska

I've owned several of their knives, both fixed and folding. I carried one of the folding knives up in Alaska a few years back on that visit. I think they make a good knife, but I have a WC Davis fixed blade I prefer.

I have three fix blades and enjoy them all. Customer service recently was top notch. Quality products

I owned a Magnum Wolverine for a while. While the D2 blade performed well, I didn't like the "Suregrip" handle material. It felt too "mushy" for lack of a better word, and always felt a bit greasy.

I would consider their knives again if they offered them with a micarta scale option.

Agreed. The Wolverine is a good knife. The handle is the only thing I disliked about it.

I used to deer hunt quite a bit, and tried a number of knives for field dressing. Settled on the Cub Bear. I love it. Dressed many deer with it. I know it’s not the one you’re looking at, but I’m a Knives if Alaska fan based on my experience.
