KNIVES OF UKRAINE

Don't have even one.
Never heard of some
But probably they made something ...

BPS Knives are a budget-minded favorite of mine.

I only have one Ukrainian knife, an exceptional piece in my view, with walrus toof handle. Show yours! Meanwhile I would like to also direct your attention to this youtube tiny video by my Brother, a consummate artist in primitive pottery, which is related. Thanks!

Not to be picky but you may want to edit your thread title to "Knives of Ukraine".
In 1991 Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union, and in doing so their Constitution established "UKRAINE" as the name of the country.
Today Ukrainians are resentful of the use of "THE UKRAINE" as it brings back not very pleasant memories in their history. THE UKRAINE is the way the Russians referred to that part of the country during Soviet times. You may have noticed that all Western media have now adopted "Ukraine".

Just so no one thinks I'm making this up:

Got one of these (BPS HK1S) a few weeks ago for the youngest son and he has had fun doing his pantina, staining, leather sealing on it. It looks pretty rough cause he wanted to do it his way and that is fine... I went ahead and ordered another one and have fixed it up in moderation.... Mine looks great, his looks like it has had way more fun... Ahh to be a kid in the woods again alone with a solid knife to keep me company. Priced where you don't have to worry about damaging it some (character building)... I wish I had one of these as a youth instead of destroying my BSA knife that is worth a ton today.
