Knives on my snake

Yep
Could have worded the title a little better, simply knives on a snake perhaps.

But you can always send me your knife and I will be more than happy to put it on my snake.

My only family friendly answer : NO knives on MY snake !

The cat was distracting the snake so he can take the pic, obviously.

Nice thread!
I use to have leopard clown ball python but it had to go when we got the cats.

Is that one of those kill-ya-in-a-second brown snake variants?
Just the biggest black snake I've seen on our place . :)

He just showed up one day , on the second floor balcony , outside the kitchen window .

Constrictor , nonvenomous . Beneficial snake, except will climb trees and raid birds nests .

I generally leave the wildlife alone unless a direct problem / danger .

Black rat snakes are one of my favorites. Most of the rat snakes are fairly easy-going, as are many of the king snakes. Bull snakes can a bit more aggressive, but not overly so. Picking up wild North American constrictors is not entirely without risk, but, in my opinion, worth the reward. You find out they are curious, clever, and stronger than you might think.
