A tangent pulled from the current EDC thread discussion. There is a Beer & Blades thread.. but what about one for those of us who prefer a glass of scotch or whiskey while we fondle our knives? I'm always looking for new and interesting spirits to try. Stogie recommendations are welcome as well, just as long as you post a picture.

Tonight: Blanton's Burbon (highly recommended), Papas Fritas (Drew Estate, a great quick smoke), Chuck Gedraitis Toucan flipper (awesome knife, just posted a review in that section).

 
I totally thought this was gonna be a knife sitting on a pile of crack rocks....

Lol just kidding. Not a fan of hard alcohol myself, but that knifes damn fine!!!!

Lets start a "Weed and Stabbies" thread...

Hahaha I guess I was too creative in my thread title! Bet the weed and stabbies thread would be more popular!
 
I was wondering when this thread would happen. My favorites as of now, Jagermeister, Jack Daniel's and Fireball.
My two favorite blades, CRKT Foresight and CRKT Obake
and my favorite tobacco, Grizzly Natural Extra Long Cut.

Not sure I've ever known someone who claimed either of those to be a favorite liquor! Are you talking straight or mixing them? Either way, how do you prepare it?
 
Wait, why would you put ice in blantons!! If I must, I use the large ice ball...still, good taste
 
I have a bottle of Blanton's Single Barrel as well and putting a couple of ice cubes or a "little" water in it opens up the taste of the bourbon or any whisky really . You should try it .

Oregon? Darn, I had guessed Colorado. A year from now, you can add in Florida. The whole country's going up in smoke.
 
Jack and Coke or straight Jack.
Fireball and Coke
Fireball and Hard Cider (I go about 2 oz of Fireball to 6oz of cider)
Jagermeister straight
Jagerbomb
Jagerbomb with a touch of grenadine.

I suppose they're my favorites for sentimental reasons, when I was a kid I always remember the bottle of Jack being passed around elk camp after a successful hunt and Jager after a successful deer hunt. Fireball, I enjoy the way it tastes, and it reminds me of fishing back east in North Dakota with my family.

I work in the MJ industry here in CO, and I have tons of blades and buds pics, lol. I harvest with a BK9 frequently. But about a year or so ago I did ask someone of higher (no pun intended) authority here if a thread like that would be ok, and it was discussed that a thread of that nature might rub some people the wrong way, so it was left at that.

But not to derail too much (my apologies OP), here is a bottle of scotch I received for my 40th, still unopened 6 years later, haven't found the right occasion yet, and today's carry, my super blue:

Funny you say that, I normally put two or three cubes in anything I drink while having a cigar. I like the chill in contrast to the warm stogie. The ice maker decided to be rather liberal last night which happens often and im lazy so i went with it. But I ordered a set of large ice ball molds. No more fridge ice for me.
