I can't believe none of you guys are talking about this
show on the ABC, Lost. One of the marooned passengers has a suitcase full of knives. Clipped on the breast pocket of his vest in the second episode was a all stainless Endura.

The show has a kind of x-files angle to it. There are things that defy explanation.

So far I am pretty impressed with the show. The last time I actually made a point to watch a tv show every week it was the x-files (and I gave up on the last year of the show)

Anyway back to the knives. The guy opens the suitcase full of fixed blades and some of the blades look like the stuff sold on the shop at home knife show. Nothing Hibben fantasy looking with huge useless saw teeth on it, or crazy blade shapes. But one had a fnger hole guard.

Oddly enough the guy is portrayed as a calm, reasoned, level headed type. Not some wild eyed psycho with a suitcsae full of knives.

DID YOU SEE THE EPISODE WHERE HE BITCHES AT THE TRAVEL GUY CUZ THEY WOULDN'T LET HIM GO ON HIS "PUSHING HIS ASS AROUND ON A WHEELCHAIR A-BOUT"!

Yes he used to be in a wheel chair, before the flight. The wheel chair you see the people using to move stuff was his.

It was a SS Merlin, not an Endura.

It was previously id'd as a Harpy in another thread. I actually had the show recorded, so got a good look at it, and the other knives. A couple of decent blades (Kabar Type, Buck Nighthawk Tanto), as well as some lesser quality knives by United, and Frost.

Sorry for the ot. But K.V. new helmets suck don't they? Our saftey officer took my helmet out of service bacause of its condition. Now I got a new, clean and shiny one too. :grumpy: Look like some new guy again. :barf:

I got my models mixed up. The Merlin is the FRN version of the SS Harpy. My bad. ;)

Ya I thought it was a harpy too, I could see that triangularish with one end rounded hole in the handle.

I thought this was going to be in reference to the knives for sale for 3 easy payments of 13 bucks!! Not only do you get the super knife, but you get the sportsmans knife and the paring knife also!! BUT THERES MORE!!! You get the steak knives and a chopper thing and much much more!!! It must be good, the bread and bagal knife cut a hammer!!!! I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES!!! I like the part where the assistant brings the guy knifes on a cushion, like they were the crown jewels or something!!!
