We have several other threads where forumites can show off their compositional photographic skills, but I would like this one to be just about the knives. Closeups, both mark and pile sides. There is some consensus that currently GEC is making the best traditional folding knives on the market, and whether or not this is true, they do make some lovely ones. Let's see your most beautiful GECs, but limit yourself to no more than three knives per person. Here are my three, which are not only gorgeous, but with almost perfectly matched covers from both sides. I just realized I have one from each of GEC's brands.

Let those shutters fly and . . . . bring on the pics!

I don't know about gorgeous but here are three that I think are pretty good looking knives. About the best photography I'm capable of too.

I'd have to agree that GEC is making some of the best out there at the moment. I've probably never owned a GEC that I was not immediately and continually impressed with. That makes choosing between the 10 or so that I own fairly difficult... But here are my 2 overall favorites, hope you like em' as much as I do. :)

Wow - a veritable crème de la crème of GEC goodness. :)

Here're a few of my favorite #721110s in a no-frills setting:

Great thread so far!

Keep the pictures rolling! I may have to try and take some half way decent pics of mine.

That Owl has top of the range stag, really nice on the oil-paper wrapper too.

Jeff, fantastic Ram's Horn, wish they would offer more of that and it's really hard to get matching slabs.

Thanks, Will

This one was hard for me... I picked these three for both their looks and their usefulness to me.

I have two of the three brands, the two that I like under the GEC brand are just out of what I'm willing to lay out for a production knife...

My 53 is still favorite but my 85 has just barely best fit and finish....

I know not everyone likes the primitive bone, and there are finer examples of it than this, but here is my Ben Hogan.

I went as boring as possible just for this thread  :D

The knives being posted really are out of this world for a production knife.

why don't you list the name of the name along with the serial numbers?

thanks
