knives sent to New Zealand

Hey everyone, i want to buy a decent survival knife online but the only places i can find that sell them dont send to my country

does anyone know a knife maker that exports to New Zealand?? ay help would be great thanks.

Are you looking for a custom knife or a US manufacturers knife? I am not sure of the laws your country has regarding shipping knives. Have you been in direct contact with a maker who wouldn't ship there?

If you're looking for production knives, www.discountknives.com is a good place to start.

As for custom makers, I have something from Newt Livesay arriving - check out newt.livesay.com . Since we live in NZ, you just have to make sure that the postage is insured/trackable as I have lost knives to the postal system before.

If you know what you want maybe I could pick it up for your here in the States and just ship it to you as a one-on-one mail. Unless of course I won't be arrested for mailing to NZ. What are your laws there about receiving a package from the U.S. ? Can I just mail a package and declare it as a working knife or tool?
