I just wanted to give a public thumbs up to knives ship free,

I ordered an izula from them with special shipping with the hopes of having it in time for a gift to someone.

But alas customs didn't like the wording of "camping tool" on the package and sent it backs to KSF......... good 'ole customs.....

In realizing my situation they offered to send it off to that someone at a cost of $5 (reg shipping to where that person is, is much more than that) and refunded the special shipping I originally paid for!

Whisker2 sorry to hear that. It is usually a crap shoot with customs, but I've never had a fixed blade knife turned back before. Derrik has sent me three RC-blades to Canada now and all arrived. For whatever reason, I've yet to even get dinged on duty on them yet. I have gotten dinged on duty on other knives but not from KSF. I just call that luck.

Anyhow, KSF is one of my goto places for US online stores. I really trust them.
 
BTW...this is the first time "camping tool" has caused them grief. We always use that because it helps with pilfering. Always a first time. :)
 
Next time just put the initials WMD on there. :D
 
KSF gets :thumbup::thumbup: from me as well. Great service, and I enjoy giving me hard earned cash to folks that support BF.
 
Try declaring "camping tool- used shit trowel", I might cut down significantly on it being given a second look.:D

I got all three of my RATs from KSF. Customs dinged me on the first one, my RC-6, but a week later I got my RC-4 and Izula with no additional fees.
 
i'm in the same state as ksf, so i'd have to pay taxes, but i hear delivery's quick. guy at the local gun shack buys a lot of stuff from there, so i'll probably go ahead and order from them.
