I'm looking for a good, small EDC. I saw some reviews on the Sanrenmu 605, and I really like the size of that knife - the closed size looks great for pocket carry without a clip and the blade size is good for what I want. Are there any knives out there of similar size but maybe better quality? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Seems like a pretty generic knife with G10 scales. IIRC Kershaw has some in that size range, the one off the top of my head that looks somewhat similar is the Skyline with about a 3" blade.

Well, the skyline is 1.25" inches longer when closed. Just seems like it would be a bit too big in my pocket unclipped.

Case makes very traditional pocket knives. Made in the US since 1889. They also make more modern offerings in G-10 and even carbon fiber. Its the knife your grandfathers farther had in his pocket. They can range from very plain to very rare pearl type scales. Most are slip joints style knives but in a smaller knife for Light duty EDC roles that's all you need. They have a line called the Slim-lock that is more modern with a thumb stud with a BG-42 blade that is 2.5 ". My first knife was a Case that I was given to me by my grandfather when I was about 10 or 11, and it still holds up to any newer EDC type knife. They are now owned by Zippo another classic All american product.
