"Bi"-centennial, that is...;)

I secured this knife in a deal through our own MM. (Thanks MM)

I thought it neat, as while it has the signature shell handle construction of an Imperial knife, the blades are indicative of the hammer forged kitchen-type cutlery.

Interesting to me, anyways..

I'm sure you guys have other examples of Bicentennial knives. I'm feeling a little patriotically nostalgic right now, and need a little flag-waving fix.

Help me out, boys...

That's a very nice example,Glenn !!
I don't have any BI's in my stash,so I hope to see some others posted here.

I really, really like that knife! Now don't be taking advantage of MM any more!

Thanks for showing this one off... wow... original box and all.

I like the hammer forge marks on the blades. I am re-handling a butcher knife for my Mother, that belonged to her Mom. They are cool old carbon steel knives, and the faux hammer marks look nice.

Glenn,
It seems like you really like that knife, I almost feel guilty for posting this :D . I picked the serialized set up at an auction this evening. Commemorating the armed forces. red, white, blue, army, navy marnies. all are matching serial numbers in the origional box.
