Hi everyone,

Im curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on what knives are designed by manufacturers with the ease of disassembly/reassembly by end users in mind.
The ones I can think of:
1. CRK knives: Sebenzas, Impinda, Unumzaan
2. Hinderer
3. CRKT Homefront

What others am I missing?

Please keep in mind I know most knives can be disassembled.. the knives I’m attempting to list here are the ones the manufacturer designs with the intention that you will take them apart for customization and/or cleaning tasks.

Thanks

now that, i didn't know.
i guess we've come a long way since
back in the day (late '80s)
when the buck 186 titanium folder
had its torx screws replaced with rivets
within two years
because folks mess up in reassembly.

which was designed by the same folks who gave us the 186 buck folder
the buckmaster, the short lived seals CUK (combat utility knife)
and eventually the m9 bayonet.

The Buck 186 was assembled with Allen recess cap screws. I have a fool proof method for reassembly if anyone needs it.

Almost all companies are going this route, except for some makers like medford, Brian SBD, but proprietary pivots are going away
