Knives that you can't sell.

I almost posted a Fehrman Peace Maker with satin finish for sale today and two other times in the last month. I don't use it, but I just can't bring myself to sell it. It fits my hand perfectly. I have sold other knives that I wish I had kept, but for some reason I can't explain, this one is special.

Anyone else have this problem?
 
Don't sell it.
Give it away as a gift.
To me.
As a gift it will continue to remain special, only doubly so, to the giver as well as the reciever.

Hmmm... well.... back to the subject ...

I can't sell any of my knives, even the cheap and nasties, (even assuming I could sell them).

They're mine, nobody else can have them.
 
Like Gajinoz, I would never sell any of my knives.

If I didn't want them, I wouldn't of bought them in the first place. Plus, it would leave awkward gaps in my catalog numbering system. :D
 
No reason to sell unless in the case of real hardship.Truth is if you are that close to money problems you probably shouldn't have bought it in the first place.

Why don't you use the Peace Maker? I've been thinking about getting one myself.
 
Keep it!! You obviously like enough that you can not bring yourself to sell it. So what you don't use it right now! You said it fits your hand perfectly! There is nothing wrong with keeping a knife that you do not use.
 
I sold a bunch of knives in 2006, so I could purchase a new motorcycle and pay cash for the thing. I thoroughly enjoy the motorcycle, but am still kicking myself in the butt for selling the blades. A lot of them are not replacable due to being out-of-production.
Ahh well, yas make your bed, yas got to sleep in it every night. :rolleyes:
