Knives with slim profiles?

I live in a not particularly knife friendly area, and am also a pretty skinny guy (and thus wear tighter jeans) so I hate when my knives sort of bulge out of my front pocket. It makes them very obvious, and even though I love my knives, I try not to draw attention to them because the reaction is literally never positive. Unsurprisingly, my Cold Steel Hold Out III has become my preferred EDC, at only 5/16" thick (it's also perfectly flat), despite the fact that I own many other knives of better steels or manufacturers. I love it's slim profile because it's almost entirely unnoticeable when it's in my pocket.

With that in mind, can anyone recommend similarly thin, low profile knives? The SOG Access Card fits the bill pretty well, and I was thinking about getting some fixed blade neck knives as well.

Kershaw: leek, random leek, knockout CRKT: ripple, eros Spyderco/Byrd: Cara Cara/ CC2, delica, kiwi,

lots to choose from. try checking through the companies catalog, most have multiple examples of what your looking for

I have a few leeks (S30V, Composite, Damascus), and they're great other than the fact that they carry much deeper tip down than tip up. I should also mention that the blade length limit here is 3".

If slipjoints or lockbacks will work for you, consider the buck all stainless lockbacks, Mercator cat, Douk Douk, or alox saks - all very thin profile, but quality blades.

Al mar ultralight series.
I understand your situation; I'm 5'11.5 tall 150 lbs (lightweight body builder) and my jeans are tighter than Axl Rose's on a good day, but I'll be damned if the Al Mars don't dissolve in the pocket.

Kershaw chill is very thin and light, fast flipper, perfect size for me. It's clipped to my pocket right now. Oh, and it's about $17.

Surprised no one mentioned the Spyderco Chaparral.

Al Mar ultralight, thirded. Incredibly thin, very light, subtle pocket clip, and smooth.

Gave mine to my wife. Really need to replace it!

Chaparral if you're willing to spend about $100.
Salt I for about half that price.
Boker Trance with clip removed would be plenty thin for about $30ish.

As previously mentioned, Kershaw has quite a few thin folders that disappear in your pocket pretty easily: Leek, Skyline, Vapor, Zing. Spyderco's Delica and Endura offer a ton of useful blade for how narrow they are. And while it's not the most stout, if you just need a thin, light-duty folder I'd throw the SOG Twitch II in the running. I don't own either of the following two, but they're both on my radar, and I know for sure that they're quite thin: Ka Bar Dozier and the Benchmade 530.

one of the many reasons I don't wear girly skinny jeans, it limits how many weapons you could carry with out being noticed.....ditch the tight fitting pants and get some regular pants so you could carry a real knife.

The other reason being they don't make them in plus sizes. My umnum must not be a 'real knife'

Suggest a thin knife or go back to prac tac, thanks.
