... and that you kept because they are indeed awesome!

This thread does not condone the use of recreational drugs, marijuana, alcoohol, nitrous oxyde or whatever.

I don't recall someone asking this question before in GD.
Probably a better topic for places we don't mention in the open forum ;)

However, now that I've taken a look and thought about it, most of mine were purchased with at least a slight buzz going.
Hell, most of my time on Blade Forums I've got at least a buzz. ;)
I think it's only natural that my time spent chilling is the same time spent browsing blades.:D
A little drink, a little smoke, and lots and lots of knives are a nice way to end the day.
I have no intentions of asking anyone what's in their glass or rolled up in their cigar.
Just enjoy blades and substances responsibly and it's all good!

Heavy drinking and smoking are bad, you gotta find the right balance of blades and booze
With the scale tipped heavily towards knives of course!!!

I wanted to buy a Buck Marksmen for years. I never actually bought until I had a couple of beers and saw it on sale.

Now I carry it everywhere!

i tend to play with knives under the influence more than buy them under the influence.

and that's how you cut up your feet by dropping a balisong on them.

I've purchased several knives from eBay on drunken Friday nights. I regret none. They are all knives I would have purchased sober if I had the funds. For me, alcohol just removes financial inhibitions...it doesn't alter my aesthetic sensibilities.

I haven't done anything in years, but I was a mess years ago.

I never bought a knife while high/drunk. Was too focused on other things

I call alcohol money spending lube. 10 years ago I would agonize over a purchase because I'm frugal. Then after a few drinks I would put non refundable deposits on sites that offered layaway. The next day I would complain to my girlfriend that my computer needed a breathalyzer. Side note that's why I have a pistol grip 12 gauge. Totally unrelated to my severe carpal tunnel.
