Additionally, did you find a remedy and what was said remedy?
For me it's the Kershaw Blur. I actually have several, but the thumbstud is brutal to clothing. In use it is great with the angle cut and aggressive serrations on the thumbstud.
I've considered using a Dremel and smoothing the edges, but I'd rather be able to change the studs. I don't know if replacement is even an option, but I've suffered Dremel regret before and am therefore hesitant.
In fact, it's one of the reasons I tried Spyderco knives and they've become my main carry knives. Since just carrying any clip knife causes some wear, I look for those that will have the least damaging effects. Traditional slipjoints have their place and I like them. However, there are some chores that are made a little easier by having a blade that only requires one hand to retrieve, open, use, close, and return.
Anyway, just curious if others have knives they want to carry, but don't, because the knife is excessively damaging. And second, were you able to find a fix.
