Knives You'd Like to See

The (yet another) CS thread got me thinking. What knives would you like to see that are copies of knives already being made? I have 2:

1. I would like to see someone make a knife with *exactly* the same dimensions as the CS Trailmaster, except for either full tang, or nicely radiused tang to eliminate the stress riser. Made in properly heat treated 52100 or 5160.

2. I would like to see the Queen medium stockman made with M2 HSS blades at about 65-66 HRC.

What would you like to see?

A Bark River Northstar in S90V with kraton handles

A BM 610, and 710, offered in both S90V and CPM M-4

All Benchmades, Kershaws, Queens and Spydercos offered with the OPTION of M-2 HSS!

The Ontario Rtak offered in A-2.

The Kershaw Blur as an automatic.

I would like to see a good company like Benchmade, Spyderco, Kershaw, ect. make a SAK with a pocket clip and use a good hard blade steel.

I say this everytime but....
Spyderco Civilian with reinforced tip,PE, DLC coating (yes, that's redundant), wave, G10 Coyote brown scales.

I'd also like to see CS make some form of a folding karambit just because they'd probably make at least a decent model at an affordable price. I'm really surprised they haven't made one as they tend to lean towards that sort of thing. Mystery of the universe I suppose.

@Hammer27

It seems the Master of Universe have heard your prayer. Now there will be a kind of CS karambit:

The reason why they have not made before? This:

But it seems he finally changed his mind... Or he smelt it was time to take this market.

Thanks! Really interesting article. Seems a bit hypocritical as he has A LOT of things that don't seem all that feasible. To each his own I suppose.

I'd like to see a traditional, production slipjoints from Queen, Case etc with a single wharncliffe blade.

Spyderco Military with caged ball lock and DLC coated M2 HSSR blade with removable wave and flat dark earth colored G10. 4 position clip.

I'd like to see a larger blade hawkbill folder. If CS would make a Recon 1 with a plain hawkbill blade, I'd go for it in a heartbeat. Maybe some hawkbill Voyagers, too.

Also, a Spyderco Native with a 4-inch blade.

I'd like to see Kershaw and Spyderco make some folders with serrations and clips designed for southpaws like me. It is really tough to find good knives with serrations on the right side and clips that let me carry on the left side.

I would love to see a well made stockman pattern WITH an awl in it. It would have the sheepsfoot, spey, clip and then an awl. Just like the one over in the "whats in your pockets" thread.

Hopefully made by buck and under $50. (No, I'm not picky:rolleyes::D)

How about a Leatherman tool or SAK with the knife blade made of a quality steel like D-2, M-2, S30V etc???:):)

I'd love to see Bark River make a really big bowie. Like an 11 inch blade one in the style of a Fisk or a Bagwell or a really nice combo of both :D

There needs to be a more reasonably priced balisong on the market. There is nothing between CCC's and +$100 models*.

I'm thinking a budget Benchmade 32 Morpho, with FRN instead of G10, steel instead of titanium, and maybe AUS-6 or some other inexpensive steel in order to keep the price down.

*The Spyderflies are drying up, and I feel you need a belt grinder to do a good job assembling a Typhoon/Tsunami

A Benchmade that would be something between the 707 and the 710.

Good steel, G10 handle. 3.5" blade, axis lock. Something like the 14205, but a "real" benchmade.

I'd like to see an
American made
lockback
in 440C hardened to 59-60
modified drop point with sharpening choil and no recurve
no assisted open
Decent fit and finish
priced below $50 online. Which would put msrp at about $85.
No famous designer name or fancy devices to boost the price.
with pocket clip
any handle material that is solid
no funny shapes on the handle, just a gentle curve to fit the hand.

This is actually one that was originally made by Cold Steel, but discontinued: The Mini Bushman

It was the perfect size as a general purpose "beater" knife, and it was as tough as anything I've found. Just a great little fixed blade, and one of the first things I packed when I was camping.

I'd love to pick up a couple more of them.

I love a re-issue of the original Gerber Yari with a slightly wider blade.

My Yari is just about perfect as it is.

I LOVE MY YARI
