Knives you've never gotten around to buying.

I have quite a few knives of various ages, makes, and models -- been picking them up here and there since I was a youngster, but there are some knives that I've always wanted, but have somehow never seem to have acquired. One model that I've wanted for 30 years is a Puma White Hunter. Don't know why, I just liked the way it looked.

Also the classic Browning folder, with the wood and brass handles. I just seem to go for something else at the last minute.

And, while I have a few, I remember several years ago I could have gotten all the original Blackjacks I wanted for $49.00 each at a gun show where a dealer was selling out.

I won't even talk about the Al Mar yellow handled "Packrat" that one of my regular dealers kept trying to talk me into back then, but I didn't think it was worth $75.00 . . .

back in the 90's i wanted to buy the Gerber BMF or the Buck Buckmaster survival knife. Never got either one...

I remember we used to refer to the Gerber BMF as the "Big Mother F***er" and the LMF as the "Little Mother F***er".

Kershaw E.T. and CS Voyager X2. I've wanted both for years, but never enough to actually get around to buying one.

ALmar SERE 2000 Folder and FB without the saw. While I'm at it, anyone have the Folder or FB and Love it?

I've been putting off trying out a Spyderco for a long time. Maybe I'll get one, try it out for a while, and then if I don't love it I'll give it to my twin bro for christmas.

The blade that first pops to mind is a cheap one.

For years I have wanted Ontario's 12" machete and yet never seem to work up the momentum to buy one. I think that all the articles on customizing them gives me an excuse to procrastinate.

A Microtech OTF... (Double edged Scarab)

Can't get my head around the price tag, even though I am crazy about them.

Sebbie- but I would have bought one if they weren't so expensive
Lone wolf T1
buck 110
Kershaw composite knife of some kind probably Junkyard dog 2
Spyderco chinook- almost pulled the trigger on one but then I saw a mini-manix for sale and that was that

Bladefoolish,

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought LMF was "Little #####". Don't forget the LST, a.k.a. "little sh!t" which was my EDC for many years.

I agree with AfterTFD, I keep meaning to try a spyderco.
I also never have gotten around to getting a decent fixed blade.
Always choose a folder for some reason.

CR Sebenza

Just seems like an aweful lot of money for a folder. Every time I come close I end up buying another fixed blade.

I don't know why you'd want a White Hunter either - IMO the Puma's are way over-priced and over-rated. My son has a Trail Boss - tip broke off and the lock failed - he was lucky it didn't injure him - only ever used it for skinning roos so that should never have happened. I had a Puma years ago - wouldn't take or hold it's edge - even the boys in the toolshop couldn't get it sharp.:grumpy:

Not a big fan of Pumas...the fit and finish of their pieces has been absolutely abysmal on the pieces I've seen so far.

I'm still wanting an RC-6 but I'm holding out for a tan blade/green canvas version. :D
