What do you mean by reprofiled tip? Would I be better off getting the titanium hardware and scales on a new para 3 from them? I think the stonewashed scales and satin blade look really nice together.I got the Red Dragon style Delica, Endura and DF and have been very well satisfied. They arrived hair flinging sharp. The heat coloring on the screws wears quickly. The regrind on the tips is really nice.
And now I'm going to have to dig them out and fool with them, thanks a lot.
I just noticed the stonewash finish seems to make the action a bit slower than my un-stonewashed models, but I'm going to put on some Gunny Glide and see what that does. I need to carry these more for sure, they're very cool.
They do a regrind on the tip (if requested) and my Endura and Delica both came with it. It's supposed to make it a bit stronger, I believe. What do you mean by reprofiled tip? Also, any idea on their scale quality? Compared to their other option "flytanium"
How do they regrind the tip to be stronger? Just go further up the blade so it's thicker? They do a regrind on the tip (if requested) and my Endura and Delica both came with it. It's supposed to make it a bit stronger, I believe.
I don't have any of KP's titanium, but I do have some Flytanium on a Delica and it's nice.
Yessir, they take some off.How do they regrind the tip to be stronger? Just go further up the blade so it's thicker?
It's a pre-break jobYessir, they take some off.
I'm wondering if I order the standard satin PM3 and the titanium scales with it and stick with the stock hardware if the titanium scales will alleviate the common issue with removing the lanyard tube from the scales Or would I be better off going with Ti hardware for easier assembly and dissambly? The materials are top notch from kp. I've ordered 2, a bugout and a para2. None of the options you are looking at, but the ones I got were put perfectly together, fit and finish, and functioned perfectly.
Just the tip.Yessir, they take some off.
