Knob Creek 2012 scores

Here is what I picked up at knob creek this spring, yes, i was on a mission for Fusion Steel hearts :) I pretty much got what I came for with the help of my son this time.. it was his first Ganzaa, and it was an eye opener for him; he said the adrenaline rush when he went into the room to the "trough" reminded him of being on patrol in Iraq.. for his "snagging" help, he got his first Ganzaa busse.. a Tankbuster with blue/black G10 on black.. He called it his "University of Kentucky wildcats knife" anyways. enjoy
muddy brown SFNO was the only combat grade one there, also other than a G-Rex FSH, the Satin FSH was the only Satin FSH there. I think I saw one BATAC, no hell razors, lots of HG55s, and customs. The only thing I did not get that I would have liked to have had was one of the Saber grind ASh1s with the 2008 style machined grips on it.. only one.. didn't get it

I thought there was a price increase on the Satin FSH last time I think it was $527, this time $597 oh well inflation and the FFBM was one of three also a hefty pricetag, but man it is beautiful and I'm thinking .320

Geeez......you got all stinkin four of em....I just wanted one.....and you were way behind me in line.....

....my trough raiding skills need some serious fine tuning....

I just stood between the tables and shuffled my feet, basically running in place for the first 5-10 seconds. Sheesh!
 
Solstice> At first I thought the FSHs were a tiger hide hand smoothed, but your right they look like they have more green in them than tigerhide. the last time I saw this was a knob creek special FBM with serrations on the bottom. Its nice
and yeah, went to meet a guy at a gunshop we both visit and after our trade, went inside and saw the Kimber Raptor and had to have it.. sweet piece.
Dericdesmond> yes, I was a FSH HOG :) they were spread out, but the HOG fu was with me that day, I picked up three, my son got one for me along with the FFBM.. I had the blue handle on tanker gray, but after adding up my expenditures I gave it away to another hog.
 
Nice scores!!! Especially on the ffbm, I notice you grabbed the one with a slightly bent tag, that was the one I marked for myself because it was the fattest at 0.3195!!! It was nice meeting you and well dont on the fsh's

I thought there were two.....a green/black G-10 and a orange/black G-10. I, like you, really wanted one of these. It was my top priority however I choked!!!
 
Awesome haul. Jealous meter moved slightly higher.

Congrats to you and all who scored some rare Busse-kin.

I missed out on this because I had obligations out of state. Will have to make up for it in Atlanta.

Don't worry about me getting in anyone's way, I merely nibble at the trough.

Instead of bending tags you should tie balloons to the handles. :) That would be a super way to know where they got moved to.

Frank, your Hog-fu was definitely working to score all those FSH! Congrats. The hand-shaped scales on those just feel so good.

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be bringing a bunch of balloons and a helium tank to the fall KC show.... :D:D




...or I could perfect my tree hiding abilities
