Knob Creek Fall 08 Score

Well.... I just got done spending a very expensive 4 hours at Knob Creek. I really enjoyed catching up with the crew and spending time talking knives with everyone there. I ran into Jim and a few other and it was nice as always to shoot the poop with them. I have got some pictures of my score that I will share. There were a TON of knives and of course the ones that I really wanted were gone before I got there but all is good. I still walked away with a really nice score. I hope to be able to go back on Sunday if time will allow it!! There were still some really good ones left too guys....... get that Proxy now, its not too late.(but not me.... I am overextended now as it is!! )

IF ANYONE HAS THE OTHER ARCTIC WHITE KNIVES WITH MATCHING HANDEL MATERIAL IS LOOKING TO HELP ME FINISH THIS SET PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!GARTH TOLD ME THERE WAS A FEW OTHERS THAT WERE MADE AND BROUGHT TO KNOB CREEK BUT WERE GONE BEFORE I GOT THERE.
 
Is the Arctic White blade finish shiny/glossy (like Urban Gray) or matte (like Black Crinkle)?
 
From this photo of yours, it seems a little glossy, unless that is an artifact from the flash:

There were some SHBM's for sure and I think I remember seeing some more SHSJ's. There was a VERY nice selection even though I was not the first in line.

And Lunde..... it is a flat white but still very much white.... if that makes sense!! LOL......its from the flash.

Man I wish I could remember Sketchbag!!!! I looked at SOOOO many knives today I am going to have to take a nap!! LOL

Thanks to all the comments as well. I REALLY like the white. I am not usually a white fan but for some reason the white with the snake handles really jumps out at me. I really hope to find the others that Garth said were sold today! ;)

And yes Tree there were some nukes there today and they were nice but not my cup of tea.

you would love the GM. its built on a BAIII platform which I know you love:thumbup:


my black snake is just shy of .200.

I imagine this is similar, but regardless its a great score:thumbup:


the thumb ramps regardless of appearance are very useful IMHO
 
real nice scores there. That arctic white finish looks cool. Wonder how durable/easy to keep clean it will be.
