Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot

Hi guys -

Got back in from Knob Creek early this morning - posted some of the pictures I took at the Machine Gun shoot. Wow - if you have never been, and you love the smell of gunpowder smoke, this is a must-see event.

Essentially, hundreds of class 3 ffl dealers and owners of transferable full-automatic firearms show up in Kentucky at a huge firing range. The club members place cars, trucks, refrigerators, exploding barrels, etc., down-range and then the "shooters" go to town firing at the targets.

You can also pay to shoot many different types of automatics. There is also a huge firearm / cutlery flea market/swap. Awesome. I am going back!

The Busse crew was there in force:

There was a Huey there giving rides, which with the machine-gun noise added to the aura.

It poured down rain for about an hour, which created impromptu mud-bogging in the campground area:

Now that is what I'm talkin' 'bout...:thumbup::thumbup: I've never been to Knob Creek, but I'm planning on hopefully making the next one.

I can remember seeing the Knob Creek sign on I65 when we would travel to Nashville. Looks like you had a great time.
