I just got home from the Knob Creek Gun Shoot and I had a great time. A lot of forumites made it this time(I'll try to remember them all ;) )
Tech Rat
ThatMGuy
Dr. Thor
Boiler
Poorguy(Shane)
G19G26(Chuck)
It was great seening/meeting you all.
Saw a lot of cool blades, many of which were sold, but there are still a few available. If you haven't emailed the shop and you want a blade I'd do it now, if you were at the show and you got a blade Congrats (I hate you ;) )

I'm sure there will be pics going up soon (sorry I suck at pics)

Garth and Slim Fast were doing a great job at the booth they even managed to separate me from some of my cash ;)

However, I think Shane and Chuck walked away with some of the coolest pieces.
:D:D

I'm at a hotel outside Indianapollis, useing my dad's laptop.

It was great to meet some of you guys. I met Eric, ThatMGuy, Garth and Poorguy. It was nice to be able to handle the different blades. I could hardly put the SJT down! I HAVE to get one of those some time! Unfortunatly I didnt get to buy any blades, but I bought a nice black and yellow paracord lanyard, and a Surefire C2 Centurion, and my dad got a Spyderco Dragonfly. And I got to shoot a MP-5!! Fastest $30 I hve ever spent! All in all it was a great time!

We need to see some of these offered up for sale (for those of use who are too lazy or inept to make our own).

Rick - mine all have little melted tags on the ends

I have wanted to be there for so many years now, but it has just not worked out.

Perhaps next year.

Glad everyone had a great time.

Check out the Swamp Rat Company Store:

Eric’s daughter makes excellent lanyards.

DJolney nailed it if you'd like to see some pics or order Just go to www.shop.ratknives.com Additional pics can be seen here http://www.bussecombat.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=002043

I want to thank Jerry as well for letting us have a few feet of table to put her lanyards on, I took about 40 for her and I brought only 7 home

Jerry,
Thank you Very Much!!!

(a bit of fatherly bragging here) I think she does great work, some of the best I've seen even from adults.

To everyone who bought some, Thank You as well!!

:D:D

Thanks for the heads up. I'll admit that it never would have occurred to me to look in the Rats' Nest for Busse accessories. And I don't get to the home forum nearly as much as I should.

Rick

They work on Rat's as well ;)

I didn't post it here originally so as not to clog this forum with "for sale" posts.

Email me with questions or custom orders (ratknives@insightbb.com)

It was nice meeting you and the other guys Eric. Your daughter's lanyards are really nice! I put a yellow/black on my Leaner Meaner, and the OD/black will probably go on my Howler.

Now if we could just get you guys to set up at the National Gun Day Shows at the fairgrounds, we'd be all set!

No kidding! I tried to make a lanyard like those once, and its was very, very ugly. And I couldnt figure out how to end it. The best I can do is a sloppy hangmans noose type thing, and that takes me about an hour.

Eric thinks he's bragging as a father, but let me tell you, these are the best lanyards that I have seen so far. Bria does an amazing job. Really top notch work. Clean, precise, consistent and very, very tight. The loops are the right length too.

And don't forget about the survival bracelets. They are just as nice as the lanyards and are made to your exact wrist size. Great job Bria - keep up the good work!
