SWEET! Based on that report, I am concluding I was successful in getting one of the BARFs!

Rick

what is a "combat grade" barf? would that be black canvas & black crinkle?

i thought that too. but i thought combat grade was the black black. hmm. i dunno!

Sorry to bother you Jerry, but do you know when the Assault Shaker's sold out at the show. Also, when we e-mailed to reserve a knife, if we got it was it then set aside?

Thanks, Steve

I'm hoping that this means I was able to get one of the intitial BARF's as well. KEWL!!!!!

I just got back in and got off the phone with Garth, we are way more than SOLD OUT!!! The show admins. even let our guys go early since there were no knives left to be sold. Good deal!!!

Couple of answers to a couple of questions. . . The Combat Grade BARF had a double cut finish. . . I used the phrase "Combat Grade" to delineate between the custom and the standard. . . . Yes, we set the knives aside at the show once we made contact with the Busse Combat team there and gave them the order list. . .

Thanks boys!

Good God, those green knives are ugly. Is that a Barf?
In a word, No. The green ones are a SFNO [top left] and Force One [left side].
The BARFs are the ones with the finger rings (hence the name: Busse Assault Ring Fighter).

Rick - who generally agrees regarding the green

You'll note that I said "generally". I have one green Busse, my OD. And it looks good on it.

Rick - who else is hearing "It's Not Easy Being Green"?

Rick,
I understood that, I was just giving you a hard time mainly because I bought that knife at the Creek and it looks sweet ;)

:D:D

Crossing my fingers for Tuesday and news of a green Ratweiler...

:D

It's not that easy being green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or
yellow or gold-
or something much more colorful like that.
It's not easy being green.
It seems you blend in with so many other
ordinary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water-
or stars in the sky.
But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important
like a mountain, or tall like a tree.
When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?
Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine,
it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

Very much so.

Good to see everyone who trekked to the Creek.

Wish we'd have had more time to shoot the breeze (pun intended), but it was still good to see all the hogs again.

Dr. Thor, hope dad had a good time, and hope he's willing to return in either April, or maybe take ya to Blade in June!!

G19G26, hope Mrs. G19G26 enjoyed herself. Did you find that location ok Saturday afternoon??

Shane, hope the drive was worth it. I won't tell the Mrs. about all the INFI and SR101 you hid in the wheel well.... ;)

Oh yeh, almost forgot that this trip was the first for the night shoot!! What did you all think??

We both had a great time. She was really impressed with the way everyone treated a Hog/Rat newbie. She even enjoyed the blasts and bands. We and a bunch of others from the shoot did find the store. Neat place, thanks.
