Anyone have a connections for a room near Knob Creek ....it seems every place is packed within 15 miles south of Ft. Knox....trying to work my ex Mil angle to get a room ON Ft. Knox........

Jerry, where is the Busse Combat Block for Knob Creek!!!!:D :D :D
 
My buddy used to secure a room at the Golden Manor right around West Point...about five minutes from the range. They have a lot of auxillary (sp?) accomodations including a little yellow house that has a toilet that fights back:eek:
The desk girl once said there seemed to be cancellations and openings fairly often during the weekends of the shoot.
 
Golden Manor said they are full for the every Knob Creek for 2 years...I tried to make reservations there......no luck!

Currently Ft. Knox Lodging is booked up April 13th - 15th. They did mention that they had two NCOA classes checking in before those dates and typically have vacancies after adjusting for no-shows. The reservations person I talked to did not have the class report dates available when I called. Reservations are at DSN 464-3491, commercial 502-943-1000.
 
The only thing i know about knob creek is what i can barely recall the next morning. Whiskey gets me blackout drunk :)
 
Well then....that sounds like a good time to be had!!!!! Now I wouldn't mind that so much if I HAD A PLACE TO STAY that is closer than 15 miles!!!!!!
 
There is camping on site as well. It wouldn't be too bad unless there are thunderstorms all weekend.
