Decided my 301 blem I got Saturday looked too new. So..took it out to play today.

And like the the thread header says, it is abusive to some. If you don't like me beating on my own knife, too bad.

Here it is...a little batoning

Too easy. What if the can opener on my SAK broke?

Still too easy. What if the can upset me and needed to be cut in half?

My 301 took it all in stride. The only damage a few nicks, dings, and scratches.

I think it looks better now. More character.

I'm glad to see some one using there knives hard haha! The first thing I did when I got my 0200 was chop a 2/4 In Half.....the look on my neighbor's face was *priceless*

I love seeing pics of knives being used. The first thing I did with my Fixed Skyline was attempt to chop a tree down.

that knife is built for hard use, and yes it does look better. Were you able to work those small chips out with the sharpmaker?

I love seeing pics of well-used knives and a nice shiny perfect edge. Shows that the person isn't afraid to use the knife, but that they also know how to maintain/sharpen it.

Awesome! Those 0301s sure do love tearing stuff up. I know mine does :D
And you're right, all that wear does add character. Wouldn't have it any other way:thumbup:

Awesome to see these knives used for their intended purpose. Wish there were more of these threads.

Thanks for posting. Looks better after use.

I think you took that photo 5 minutes before posting it here. What did you do?!

When my finger was sliced by my S30v Blur, it cut so fast that it didn't even have a chance to get blood on it

Photo was taken a few months ago, used it to clean a couple of deer and turkeys.

I just noticed that the 301 blem has a serial number of 7591. I'm curious if the serial numbers for blems get reprinted onto non-blems, or if that serial no is essentially taken off the non-blem market. Anyone know?
